Our Team
Simon started Yo Yo Salon in 2002 and has been the lead stylist at Yo Yo since. With over 30 years in the industry, Simon has worked internationally in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Canada. A stylist of different precision cutting, and coloring techniques, Simon is highly meticulous, He listens and uses creative approaches to customize hairstyles for each individual. To see him work is to see an artist at his craft.
Helen is our Color Specialist with 10 years of experience at the Fox and Jane Salon in NYC and 15 years in the fashion industry. Trained at the renowned ARROJO her specialty is fresh natural looking blondes, highlights and balayage. Believing your hair is an integral part of your personality and lifestyle, she will take this into consideration during your consultation. Helen takes pride in effortless color and cuts that look great months after you leave her chair.
Joanne was trained in Taiwan and has been with Yo Yo for over 8 years. Her specialty lies with Japanese cutting and perming techniques. European styles are also a forte. Joanne will collaborate and guide you through your hair journey. With her laid back personality, you will feel comfortable and immediately see her passion for what she does best.
Mary has been with the Yo Yo family for over 12 years. Trained in Japan and Britain with over 20 years of experience, Mary is skilled at precision hair cuts, styling, coloring techniques and especially event up dos. Mary frequently travels internationally to learn the latest techniques in styling and cutting. Highly detailed, Mary is passionate about working with your hair.
